Over ons

Frigilunch is a Belgian leader in the production of high-quality frozen meals , with a strong focus on the international retail and catering market . With a turnover of approximately €50 million and a robust growth strategy (both organic and through potential acquisitions), the company positions itself as an innovative partner that translates complex recipes into industrial scalability .

Solutions and Services

Ready-to-Eat meals

Frigilunch manages an assortment of approximately 700 different meals. This ranges from classic European dishes to world cuisine, with each recipe strictly monitored in terms of ingredients, allergens, and nutritional values.

Advanced production chain

The core of the solution lies in the integration of the "industrial kitchen" with high-tech assembly. Raw materials are processed, prepared in the kitchen, assembled into trays, passed through a spiral freezer, and then packaged.

End-to-end traceability

Given the strict legislation in the food sector, Frigilunch offers flawless tracking & tracing. For every individual portion in a supermarket in Europe, the company can trace which batch of ingredients was used and under what conditions they were produced.

Logistical support

Through close integration with partners such as TransWest, Frigilunch manages a huge frozen stock. Their services do not stop at the factory gates; they guarantee flawless delivery throughout Europe, where data exchange via EDI with major retailers is crucial.

Frigilunch's distinguishing feature is the combination of culinary quality and operational efficiency . The company succeeds in preserving the "taste of the chef" in a process that handles thousands of units per hour, supported by its own IT architecture that monitors margins per ingredient and per second.

Our values

Agility & pragmatism

At Frigilunch, there are no thick manuals or endless meetings. Actions are taken based on facts and speed. "Don't make it more complex than it is" is the motto.

Ownership & freedom

Employees are given a lot of trust and "carte blanche". You are encouraged to dig into the systems yourself and come up with solutions.

No-nonsense culture

The lines between the shop floor and management are razor-thin. There is an atmosphere of "controlled chaos" where passion for the product takes center stage.

Continuous improvement

Despite the success, there is a constant hunger to digitize and accelerate processes (such as route planning or ingredient management).

The team

Frigilunch is in the transition from a family business to a data-driven organization, while naturally maintaining the family atmosphere .

IT Team: You will join a compact and efficient team led by Bart (Solution Architect). You will work closely with a talented junior IT associate, focusing on creating and identifying strategic digital projects.

ERP Core (CSB): The backbone is the CSB system (Food-specific ERP), which has been evolving along with the business for 20 years. It contains all vital information: from recipes (BOMs) and inventory to sales orders.

Digital shell: A modern layer has been built over the ERP using web development and REST APIs. This allows for the very rapid development of custom frontend applications and dashboards that make the complex data from the CSB usable for the shop floor.

The data challenge: The major challenge is linking physical reality (machine deployment, scheduling rosters) to master data (BOMs). The goal is to provide real-time insight into "theoretical cost" versus "actual cost".
